I love the special Crochet edition of Vogue Knitting. All of the ads in the magazine relate to crochet and there are no knitting ads. The articles told stories about artists and their crochet. The fashion designs detailed a variety of styles and stitches. Also, I liked that they included a a couple of granny squares patterns. Granny Squares seem to be a staple in crochet and aspecial edition magazine would not be complete without them.
This is the 2nd Crochet Magazine by Vogue Knitting. The first one was introduced in 1994. Over the years Vogue Knitting has included a crochet pattern but it was sporadic.
I enjoy crochet magazines that give you more than just patterns. I like reading about the new tools and supplies. Vogue did an excellent job with the Crochet magazine. Hopefully, one day I will have a design published in this wonderful crochet magazine.
I loved Melody Ossola's clutch bag on page 48, Shiri Mor's lacy knee socks on page 50, by Mari Lynn Patrick's Circle top on page 60 and Granny Square Tunic on page 61, and Jenny King's Motif Laden Coat on page 64.
