Homespun Loopy Scarf

I love homespun yarn. I like to use the loopy stitch with homespun so that the texture of the yarn can be seen.   I created this scarf in tube shape and all the loops fall to one side.  I used a varigated yarn to create this design.

Flower Blossom Scarf

I tried to bring Spring into my scarves and one way to do so was to create a bouquet of flowers as a scarf.  I used green acrylic yarn for the stem that grew into three branches with flowers.  The large flowers are made from a  paper fur yarn that is variegated and the small flower is made from orange acrylic yarn.  They all have bloomed.

Annies Blue Scarf

This scarf was created using cotton yarn in dark blue.   The scarf incorporates lace and single crochet stitches.  It is a simple scarf that can be worn in the daytime as well as the night.

Denim and Leather

I created this scarf because I was trying to teach surface crochet and used my new leather hole puncher.  I punch holes in the leather which made it easy to get the crochet hook throught the holes.   I used denim and patons  glitter yarns.  I embellished the scarf with leather pieces that were attached using surface crochet and added fan charms to the scarf.

Brown Love Scarf

This scarf is created with an open lace pattern in a variegated acrylic yarn and a solid brown.  It was sewn to a wool cape to keep you warm on those chilly nights.   I remove the scarf from the cape but can easily be placed back on.

Orange Sunrise Scarf

This is the first day of May and the flowers are coming.  I created this flower design by using green and orange acrylic yarn with some orange variegated eyelash, fur  and plush yarn. The stem is created first and then the flower.
