I used bulky acyrlic/cotton yarn in black and white to create this scarf.  The black white reminds me of the colors of mud cloth, a traditional African cloth.

This scarf is made in shades of brown yarn with different fibers.  The face is made with a thin wool yarn with tapestry crochet.  I incorporated African Style buttons and cowrie shells.  Black Yarn is used to create the braids in her Hair.

This shawl was created from uing %100 Acrylic yarn in white and various shades of brown.  This shawl was created base on a Barbie Doll Outift.   I duplicated the dress and created the shawl to go with it.

Feb 12- Cowrie and Gold Scarf

This scarf is created using 100% acrylic yarn in various colors.  With the  gold yarn, I created a  a diagonal cable stitch and griddle stitch.  On the other side of the scarf is a tapestry crochet and stripe pattern.  The topside of the scarf is decorate with cowrie  shells.

This scarf is created using 100% Patons Wool in black and winter white.   I chose the basketweave pattern for the middle part of the scarf and for the bottom .  The tapestry crochet shows triangles, arrows and stripes.

Feb 7- Fall Fever

When the temperature drops it is nice to wear an orange in a month that sky are sometimes gray and the days are cold. This scarf captures the shades of orange for a fall color.  The yarn is 100% wool and 100& wool boucle.  I purchased this yarn from my favorite hand dyed farm.  Fiber Mountain.  I always see that at the sheep and wool festival. Parts of the scarf uses a tapestry crochet pattern.  At one end, the design creates a triangles

Green and Elegant Evening Shawl

I used a variegated green boucle  yarn with orange, red, blue and purple specks of yarn to create a nice long and warm shawl.   The fur allows it to be worn in the evening over a nice black dress.
